The Benson Place is a family farm situated 1700 ft. high on Burnt Hill at the eastern edge of Massachusetts Berkshire Range.
The farm consists of over 30 acres of certified organic wild blueberry barrens and another 10 acres of the hill where we raise pastured chickens and goats, create vibrant pollinator habitat, and develop permaculture-inspired food systems.
We farm for nutrient density; using traditional methods as well as the cutting-edge practices of sap analysis and customized foliar sprays, we work to optimize plant and animal health and the health of the community whom we serve.
The blueberry harvest is a short two-week season running from the end of July through early August.
