Houde’s Christmas Tree Farm is a family run business that has been owned and operated by the Houde family for over fifty years.
It was established by “Sliver” Houde, a WWII veteran as a tribute to his wife Jane Houde.
He aptly named it “Jane Houde’s Christmas Tree Farm”, and the sign still stands on the property today.
Sliver and Jane would vacation in Nova Scotia, Canada every winter after Christmas Tree season.
They owned a tree farm there and had many friends in Nova Scotia.
Today, Sliver’s grandchildren and their families operate the farm.
