Sweet Summer Gardens is located in Watervliet Michigan.
In 2000, Larry and I bought my step-dad’s blueberry farm.
We decided in 2004 to open the garden center selling annuals, perennials and herb plants as well as garden art and sun catchers.
We’ve grown over the years adding a fruit and checkout stand, a public restroom and a small bead store.
We have a beautiful walk through garden in front of the quaint glass greenhouse.
Blueberries start in early July and by mid July, they are ready for u-pick.
We start with the Blue Crop and progress to the Jersey.
We also have already picked berries on the stand.
Sweet Summer Gardens Hours & Picking Season
No matter where you go to pick your fruits and vegetables, u-pick farms will all have different open times and seasonal times based on many different factors.
We list ‘Open Season’ below as a general guide to when you can find what Sweet Summer Gardens offers.
