For over 150 years, our farm has been in the business of growing. Since 1848, it has been owned and operated by the Green’s, passing down through the family developing these hills into one of Broome County’s most productive farms.
In 1920, we began our orchards by planting 40 acres of apple trees.
We added strawberries in 1930, storage in 1942, and blueberries in 1972.
Today, our lands are filled with some of the best that nature has to offer!
When in season, we offer fresh vegetables, blueberries, raspberries, sunflowers, and pumpkins, and over a dozen varieties of apples in our Big Red Farm Market.
We have over 13 varieties of apples to pick from early September through October.
See the chart below for apple information and harvest dates. Please note that our apple harvest season is over for 2021.
Possibly the best part of summer, but we might be biased.
Starting in early we offer our beautiful red raspberries and in mid-July our big beautiful blueberries will be available, both you pick.
Picking berries is great family fun and the berries are unbelievably delicious.
