In 1992, Bill, an accountant, and his wife Jane, an ER Nurse, sold their house and moved their two young children to the 30 acre farm.
They had a vision for what the farm could become, their only problem was that they barely knew anything about farming.
They read books, talked to people, experimented, failed and succeeded.
Twenty-nine years later, the Meadow’s family has made their corner of Chautauqua County into a labor of love.
They grow 10 varieties of apples, press their own brand of cider and provide customers with other locally sourced fall favorites such as honey, maple syrup, squash, pumpkins, mums and much more.
Just an hour west of Buffalo, the Meadows Farm offers U-Pick for those looking for an authentic Western New York fall experience and Ready Picked for folks just passing through.
