Vollmecke Farm & CSA is a woman-owned 37-acre farm located in West Brandywine Township, Chester County, PA.
We offer a wide variety of vegetables grown using organic principles and locally grown fruits grown following IPM practices.
We grow over a hundred varieties of vegetables and fruits following organic principles.
Our goal is to nourish our soil and practice sustainable growing principles.
This way, we can continuously provide our community (CSA members, retail customers, and local restaurants) with fresh, delicious and nutritious produce.
The folks that farmed the property prior to the Vollmeckes grew acres of Pick Your Own strawberries, pumpkins, leafy greens and asparagus, as well as kept some cows and sheep.
They also planted the original apple orchard. The irrigation pond and planting terraces were added for erosion control back in the mid-1970s.
